About Us
STAR provides academic and instructional support in all subjects for students from kindergarten to college. Our Instructional Coach and Chief Educator—Deatra Starling-Kinard—has more than 23 years of experience in the world of education. She spent many years working as an educator and as a tutor with Sylvan Learning. Today, she has more than two decades of experience as a professional tutor and ten plus years as an Instructional Coach. She looks forward to supporting students for years to come.
